Right-click he .icc-file and choose “Install Profile”. - Mac OS:
Copy the .icc-file to the following folder:
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Color/Profiles/Recommended/
Alternatively you can copy it here:
/Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Color/Profiles/Recommended/
- Restart your layout software if you had it open.
Warning: Color Profiles must be downloaded and installed before you install PDF-presets!
- InDesign:
File > Adobe PDF presets > Define… > Load - Illustrator:
Edit > Adobe PDF presets… > Import
Important content like text and logos should be at least 9 mm from the edge of the ad.
All ads should be delivered as PDF, exported using our presets (see the table above)
Bitmap images should have a resolution of at least 600 PPI.
To ensure accurate colors, please install and use the correct color profiles (see the above table). PDFs should also be generated using the our PDF presets if possible.
Do not use spot/Pantone colors. Such colors will be automatically converted to CMYK, and might not give the results you expect.
We do not take responsibility for minor variations in the reproduction.
Our PDF presets are intended for Adobe InDesign and Illustrator. If you use other applications please aim for the following PDF settings:
- Standard: PDF/X-4:2010
- 300 PPI (for normal color images)
- Maximum JPEG quality
- Convert all colors to the correct color profile (when exporting)
- Bleed: 5 mm
- Crop Marks
Ad check:
Vi reserve the right to reject any ads that breaks the law or is otherwise unwanted. Ads that according to our judgement might be confused with editorial content, has to be clearly labeled ADVERTISEMENT (in the local language).
Errors:
By delivering finished materials, errors in the ad will not give any price reduction or compensation, as long as the material does not follow our specifications as described on this page.
Cancellation
Already booked ads can at the latest be cancelled 7 days before the ad deadline.
If you want to remove an ad later than this, you may still be charged the full price of the ad.
